QUZU is a restaurant of the modern Azerbaijani cuisine. It welcomes guests since December 23, 2013, and is located on the 5th floor of "Tsvetnoy Central Market", Moscow. Design of the restaurant is dedicated to traditional Azerbaijani arts: its furniture is decorated with the illustrations of famous Old Baku stories and folk tales, and was specially created by "Chelebi" furniture and decor company in Baku.
The restaurant offers a wide range of the best Azerbaijani dishes. The unique blend of 9 out of 11 climate zones, present in Azerbaijan, enriches the restaurant’s menu with exquisite seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices, such as white cucumbers, quince and pomegranate, considered to be a paradise fruit. And since meat is one of the main ingredients of Azerbaijani cuisine, gusts can taste here the most delicious traditional meat dishes, such as Piti, the mutton broth with chickpeas; Kebab, a local culinary invention, later taken over by neighboring countries; and Pilaf, which composition includes lamb, onions and dried fruits, flavored with saffron and cinnamon, and, in contrast to Spanish paella or Uzbek pilaf, doesn’t have rice mixed with other ingredients, being served separately. And the Caspian Sea, which is home to sturgeon, Caspian salmon and black caviar, a delicacy sought after in many corners of the world, brings the restaurant’s menu rich in fresh fish of noble sorts. After all, all the dishes, served in the restaurant, are prepared from the products, transported here directly from Azerbaijan.
Alongside with traditional Azerbaijani dishes, the restaurant also offers a range of classic international ones, embodying the cosmopolitan heritage of Baku. And its cozy vibe and friendly service reflect the country’s famous hospitality.
