In 2013 PNN Group acquired franchising rights for a famous British chain stores retailer WHSmith to expand its global presence in Russia and the CIS region. And the Group immediately started to fulfill its promises with the opening of the first WHSmith store at the Paveletsky Railway Station in Moscow and after that stepped into Sochi, where it launched one more store at the Adler Railway Station. Then, in 2014, PNN Group opened WHSmith at the MEGA Khimki retail shopping mall, which is one of the largest retail complexes in Russia. And today there are three WHSmith stores, operating in Russia.
Currently PNN Group is developing the opening of WHSmith in Baku and other cities of Russia and the CIS region, and the Group plans to open 20 more stores within next few years.
