AZMECO’S EXPANSION PLANS SECURED WITH ADDITIONAL $1.5BN FACILITY.
AzMeCo and Sberbank have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the XVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which sets out the priorities and cooperation framework between the two companies.
PNN Group is accustomed to elite brands and is proud to have such luxury brands as De Beers Diamond Jewellery and Steinway & Sons Baku within its group.
Obtaining of De Beers’ franchisee rights for Baku, Azerbaijan, with projected openings in neighboring Eurasian countries, made PNN Group a partner of the LVHM Group, where most major luxury brands retail is concentrated. And since September 1, 2013, PNN Group has become an exclusive distributor of the Steinway & Sons products in Azerbaijan. In the nearest future PNN Group plans to acquire franchisee rights for Alfred Dunhill, Nina Ricci and the Opera Gallery.
Also this year PNN Group set up an Azerbaijani polo team, Baku Guardians, which is based in London, UK. The team is patronized by Nasib Piriyev and supported by the Group. In May 2014, Baku Guardians’ team, which was captained by Prince William of the United Kingdom, took part in its first tournament - the British Royal Charity Polo Cup, sponsored by De Beers Diamond Jewellery and held at the Billingbear Polo Club in Berkshire, South East England, in a bid to raise money for good causes.
